MCON LWP is a fine cementitious powder to be mixed with concrete and cement mortar mixes to
improve their workability, increase the yield and also make them waterproof.
MCON LWP is a traditional admixture to fill natural pores within the concrete or mortar matrix to reduce
porosity and improve water tightness.
To reduce permeability of concrete and sand/cement mortar for use in:
ï Roof slabs and screeds,
ï Water tanks & water retaining structures,
ï External plastering,
ï Bathrooms and balconies
ï Sumps and drains
ï In mortar during Brick bat coba application

Method of Application
Dosage: With normal concrete and sand/cement mortar mixes use 500GM of MCON LWP for every 50
kg bag of cement.
Hand mixing: Measure out the required quantity of sand/aggregate, followed by the cement.
Sprinkle the correct quantity of MCON LWP evenly over the cement .Mix the dry materials until an even
color is obtained. Add the normal measured quantity of water and mix as usual.
Machine mixing :Add the measured quantity of sand/aggregate into the drum and mix continuously.
Add the cement and sprinkle in correct quantity of MCON LWP at the same time. Mix the dry materials
for 2 minutes. Add the normal measured quantity of water and mix to completion.
MCON LWP is supplied in 500 gm and 25 kg bags.
MCON LWP has a minimum shelf life of 12 months in unopened packs when stored under normal warehouse
Health and safety
MCON LWP is non toxic and inflammable. However it should not be swallowed or allowed to come in to contact with the skin
and eyes. Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In
case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical
attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

dispensing equipment. Technical data and guidance can be provided for admixtures and other products for use with fresh
and hardened concrete.
